For Connor Smith’s signature chef’s boards, we pair white oak and mahogany in an edge-grain design. Each board is handmade to order and unique in its grain, colour and character. Engraving is placed on the long edge for a clean, considered finish.

The Connor Smith working chef collection
Connor’s career has taken him through Langdale Chase, Lakeside and Rothay Manor; he now works at Waterhead in Ambleside. This substantial white oak and mahogany edge-grain board is made to order, around 300 × 400 × 50 mm, with its own natural grain and long-edge engraving. It is a hardworking piece of kitchen craft, shaped by Connor’s experience and made individually by Woodshed Creations.
